Chicago eateries offer Air and Water Show 2022 promotions – The Chicago Air and Water Show returns on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. after being canceled in 2020 and reduced in 2021. The free lakefront spectacular comprises the U.S. Navy Blue Angels performing precision maneuvers and the U.S. Army Parachute Golden Knights parachuting from 12,000 feet and landing on North Avenue Beach. Other military and commercial pilots will also be flying planes, tankers, and search and rescue vehicles.
North Avenue Beach is the center point of the activity, which extends from Fullerton Beach to Oak Street Beach. You may come early or even attend the preview on Friday in an effort to obtain a viewing place, but if you plan ahead, you can get a very fantastic view.
Lakefront restaurants and bars are providing special food and drink packages throughout the show, and you can even see the fireworks from a Chicago tower or a Lake Michigan boat.
